Features: A native of Tianjin. Graduated from Tianjin College of Art and Design. Member of the China Artists Association, Committee Member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee, First-Class Calligrapher and Painter, Senior Art Craftsman, and painter of Tanggu Painting Institute. His works have been exhibited and awarded in domestic and international art exhibitions multiple times, with dozens of works published, featured in publications, or included in art albums. In 1973, his collaborative comic strip Fury on the Salt Marshes was his first participation in a national art exhibition and was later published by Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House. In 1992, his New Year print For the Next Generation won the bronze medal at the National Art Exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the "Talks at Yan'an," the first prize at the Tianjin Art Exhibition, and the Lu Xun Literature and Art Award. In 1993, his Chinese painting Qi Baishi and Xu Beihong won the first prize at the 1993 National Teachers' Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. In 1994, his New Year print Spring Tide won the Grand Prize at the 8th National Art Exhibition Outstanding Works Exhibition. In 1996, his New Year print Celebrating Together Across the Nation won the silver prize at the Tianjin Art Exhibition. In 1997, his Chinese painting Soul of Painting won the gold medal at the "World Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition," and China Postal Corporation issued a special first-day cover. In 1997, his Chinese painting Warm Breeze won the excellence award at the National Chinese Painting Characteristic Exhibition. In 1997, his Chinese painting Pingpong Queen participated in the 4th National Sports Art Exhibition. In 1998, his Chinese painting Light of the New Century won the excellence award at the Ministry of Culture's 8th "Starlight Award" Art Exhibition. In 2001, his Chinese painting Red Land was selected for the National Art Exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the "Walking with the Century - 2001 Heavy Brush and Color Art Fine Art Exhibition." In 2001, his brush-and-ink figure painting was invited to be exhibited in Belgium. In 2002, his Chinese painting Visitors from Afar won the silver prize at the Tianjin section of the National Art Exhibition commemorating the 60th anniversary of the "Talks at Yan'an." In 2002, his Chinese painting Young Girl was selected for the "Tianjin 20th Century Chinese Painting Exhibition" held in Hong Kong. In June 2002, he was invited to participate in the "Meet in Hong Kong" China Contemporary Literature and Art Delegation for academic exchange in Hong Kong. In 2003, his Chinese painting works won the gold medal in the fine arts category at the first "National Cup" Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters' Works Grand Prize Competition. In 2003, his Chinese painting March in the Dai Homeland won the bronze medal at the 2nd National Chinese Painting Exhibition.
