1. This dictionary includes abbreviations commonly used in aerospace organizations, enterprises, military departments, and professional literature of various Western countries and some other countries, as well as military and technical terms that have emerged in recent years. It also includes some common designations and the abbreviations or acronyms of certain organizations, enterprises, and companies.
2. Each entry in this dictionary consists of the abbreviation, the full original term, and the Chinese translation.
3. The main body of the dictionary is arranged in alphabetical order by the abbreviation and the full original term in English. Homonymous entries with the same abbreviation are listed separately in alphabetical order of the full original term and presented as individual entries.
4. If an entry has two or more translations, terms with similar meanings are separated by commas, while those with slightly different or distinct meanings are separated by semicolons.
5. Supplementary information, explanations, or optional parts of the entries are placed in parentheses.
6. Common designations are indicated in square brackets before the translation. For entries that translate to names of organizations, companies, or enterprises, the country of affiliation is generally noted in square brackets after the translation.
7. When a single entry has two different abbreviations, the abbreviations are arranged in alphabetical order and separated by a semicolon.
8. The capitalization of abbreviation letters varies in publications and literature. For ease of reference and organization, all abbreviations in this dictionary are presented in uppercase, and all abbreviations are printed in bold.
