Features: This book provides an in-depth exploration of the theoretical and practical issues in China's foreign exchange management system reform. It covers almost all aspects of China's foreign exchange management, including the management of foreign exchange in the current account, the capital account, the management of exchange rates and foreign exchange markets, the management of international and foreign exchange reserves, and so on. To reflect the direction of the foreign exchange management system reform aligning with international practices, this book attempts to study the evolution of China's foreign exchange management system in conjunction with the evolution of the international monetary system, and to study the current foreign exchange management policies of China in conjunction with international practices. At the same time, to help readers understand the historical evolution of China's foreign exchange management policies for major cross-border transaction items, on the basis of a general introduction in each chapter, we categorize and summarize the changes in foreign exchange management policies for each item. On the other hand, since this book mainly focuses on the theoretical and practical exploration of China's foreign exchange management system reform, many specific operational issues of current foreign exchange management are ignored, and the management of foreign exchange reserves is also excluded from our research scope because it is not a traditional foreign exchange management business.
