Features: According to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Finance and the China Securities Regulatory Commission on the license management of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) performing securities and futures-related business, starting particularly from 1996, it was explicitly stipulated that one of the necessary conditions for CPAs to obtain a license to perform securities and futures-related business is to pass the CPA Securities and Futures-Related Business Qualification Examination. This formally established the CPA Securities and Futures-Related Business Qualification Examination system. To date, six successful exams have been held, with a cumulative total of 2,553 candidates passing the examination. Nearly 1,600 have obtained licenses to perform securities and futures-related business, providing a large influx of new talent for the CPA workforce in this field.
After deliberation by the CPA Examination Committee of the Ministry of Finance, it was decided to suspend the CPA Securities and Futures-Related Business Qualification Examination in 2003. However, considering that the Regulations Selected for the CPA Securities and Futures-Related Business Qualification Examination, organized by the Office of the CPA Examination Committee of the Ministry of Finance, comprehensively compiles the regulations that CPAs rely on when performing securities and futures-related business, and has become a valuable reference for CPAs in this field, it was decided to continue publishing Regulations Selected to meet the needs of all sectors of society.
This book is based on the Regulations Selected of the 2002 edition, with additions of newly promulgated or revised regulations from the past year and the removal of regulations that have been abolished or are no longer applicable. To facilitate easy reference and use, we have also systematically categorized and organized the relevant regulations. Due to its comprehensive coverage of the latest regulations in the securities and futures industry, this book can serve as a reference for CPAs who have not previously engaged in securities and futures-related business to gain a comprehensive understanding of the basics of this field. It can also be used as a reference for other individuals in society.
