Features: Transition refers to a special state of qualitative change in the process of historical development, representing a violent, overall, and fundamental change in social structure, commonly known as social transformation. In the context of transition economics, the transition refers specifically to the shift from a traditional planned economy to a market economy, commonly known as marketization. It is well-known that the process of marketization has given rise to two entirely different models, with these reform approaches exhibiting distinct economic characteristics. However, both forms of marketization have had a profound impact on income distribution. Against this socio-economic backdrop, this book constructs a theoretical analytical framework to focus on the current state and characteristics of income distribution in China. It further explores effective ways to improve China's current income distribution by examining the advancement of marketization reforms and the implementation of corresponding fiscal policies in two chapters. The theoretical analytical framework of this book consists of four parts: the definition of basic categories, income distribution theory, the relationship between market distribution and fiscal distribution, and value standards.
