Features: In recent years, wushu has flourished both domestically and internationally, with various forms of competition activities becoming increasingly frequent. There is a pressing need for standardized competition routines. To address this, the China Wushu Research Institute and the China Wushu Association organized renowned coaches, Tai Chi masters, and outstanding athletes to compile competition routines for Changquan, Nanquan, Nandao, Nangun, Tai Chi, Tai Chi Sword, Daoshi, Jianshi, Gunshi, and Qiangshi. These routines retain the stylistic characteristics of the respective martial arts and reflect the current technical standards of wushu. Not only are they rich in content, standardized in movements, well-structured, and logically arranged, but the number of movements, groups, and time durations also comply with the requirements of competition rules. They serve as the content for wushu competitions both domestically and internationally, as well as for the 1990 Asian Games wushu competition.
