Features: Russian is one of the six working languages of the United Nations and serves as an important medium for disseminating information in science, technology, politics, economics, culture, and art. The geographical region of China and Russia is connected over thousands of kilometers, and the two peoples have long-standing exchanges. Learning Russian is beneficial for the connection and understanding between the peoples of China and Russia, as well as for cultural exchange between the two countries. Since the founding of the country, Russian language courses have been one of the compulsory foreign language subjects in compulsory education, cultivating a large number of talents for the nation and promoting exchanges and understanding between the peoples of China and Russia. The "Full-Time Compulsory Education Russian Language Curriculum Standards (Trial Version)" (hereinafter referred to as "Standards") aims to focus on "theme activities," implicit grammar, and constructed vocabulary packs to create a learning environment that is close to life, highlights communication, and encourages cooperative participation. It seeks to change the reluctance caused by complex grammar and the learning mindset that emphasizes knowledge over skills, fostering students' ability to learn independently and their desire for lifelong learning. This enables them to develop a preliminary sense of Russian and master basic skills, forming a certain comprehensive language proficiency. The Russian language course is both a learning process where students gradually acquire Russian knowledge and skills through joint activities with teachers and classmates, and a developmental process where students temper their willpower, develop their thinking, cultivate their character, form their personalities, broaden their international perspectives, enhance their humanities literacy, and cultivate their patriotic spirit through Russian language learning practice. The Russian language course in compulsory education should be conducive to stimulating students' motivation to learn Russian and cultivating their interest in learning it; helping them build confidence, develop good learning habits, form effective learning strategies, and enhance their ability to learn independently and their spirit of cooperation; enabling students to master certain fundamental Russian knowledge and listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, forming a certain comprehensive language proficiency; and developing students' intelligence, fostering their innovative awareness, and laying a solid foundation for their lifelong learning and development.
