Features: The center of Qing history research is in China, and it is undeniable that excellent Qing history monographs should be written by Chinese historians. However, this does not exclude understanding and selectively absorbing the positive achievements of foreign scholars' research. It is also important to introduce and analyze academic trends, cutting-edge issues, hot topics, and significant results of overseas Qing history research in a timely manner, as well as to strengthen exchanges between Qing history scholars at home and abroad. Based on the above understanding, the National Compilation Committee of Qing History has approved the decision of the Compilation Group of the National Compilation Committee of Qing History to compile and publish Qing History Translation Series. This series will, depending on the situation, introduce the latest dynamics of overseas Qing history research to China through columns such as thematic studies, selected works and documents, academic reviews, interviews with renowned scholars, overseas features, theoretical debates, excerpts of viewpoints, and book reviews. Qing History Translation Series is a common garden for all Qing history researchers and enthusiasts. Let us work together to nurture it with our hard efforts, so that it can make greater contributions to the compilation of Qing history.
