Features: China and Myanmar are geographically adjacent, and the friendly relationship between the two peoples has a long history. The bond of "" (brotherhood) is celebrated in the annals. With the implementation of open policies in both countries, exchanges in politics, economy, culture, and other fields have become increasingly frequent, and border trade has flourished. To meet these needs, we have compiled this "Concise Chinese-Burmese Burmese-Chinese Dictionary." This book is divided into two parts: the Chinese-Burmese dictionary and the Burmese-Chinese dictionary. The Chinese-Burmese section contains over 9,000 entries, while the Burmese-Chinese section contains over 14,000 entries. The selection of words and definitions follows the principles of being concise and precise, highly practical, and prioritizing the present over the past. The entries primarily focus on basic and commonly used vocabulary, with definitions emphasizing basic and common meanings, while archaic terms and meanings are generally excluded. For ease of use, each entry in the dictionary is phonetically annotated: the Chinese-Burmese section uses Pinyin, while the Burmese-Chinese section uses the Latin alphabet. Given the significant differences between Burmese written and spoken forms and the complexity of phonetic changes, the annotations in this dictionary follow spoken pronunciation for practical purposes. We hope this dictionary will provide convenience for your studies and assist you in your work, translation, and research.
