Features: This book is written in accordance with the characteristics of higher vocational education that emphasizes the cultivation of students' engineering practical abilities. It is based on the "Basic Requirements for Mechanical Design Curriculum (Mechanical Specialty)" formulated by the Ministry of Education, aiming to guide the practical training of the course and enhance its practical teaching. The book includes three chapters: Experiments, Disassembly and Assembly Practice, and Virtual Assembly and Motion Simulation of Common Mechanisms, with a total of fourteen practical training topics. Each topic is elaborated with experimental objectives, principles, equipment and tools, steps, and precautions, accompanied by experimental reports and reflection questions to guide students in completing the training smoothly. To facilitate the practical training of the topics in Chapter 3 on virtual assembly and motion simulation of common mechanisms, this book includes a CD-ROM containing the required part graphics libraries for these topics, as well as the results of their virtual assembly, for easy reference. This book can be used as a supplementary textbook for "Fundamentals of Mechanical Design" (Higher Vocational and College Planning Textbook, edited by Hu Jiaxiu, Machine Industry Press), suitable for mechanical specialty students in higher vocational and college institutions with approximately 30 hours of teaching time. It can also serve as a reference for other relevant professionals and engineering technicians.
