Professor Sun Guangyan is a renowned Chinese dance educator, graduating from the Dance Department of North China University. In 1954, she joined the teacher training program of Beijing Dance School and became one of the first dance instructors of New China, with over 40 years of teaching experience to date. Professor Sun Guangyan is one of the founders of the systematic training of Chinese classical dance, a member of the China Dance Association, a teaching committee member of the China Dance Education Association, the chief editor of the China Dance Grading Examination Textbook, and the vice chairman of the grading committee. She has taught Chinese dance in countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka, as well as in regions like Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, achieving outstanding results.
