This book is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on introducing what transmission and rubbing are, the origins, development, and refinement of transmission and rubbing techniques, the influence of transmission and rubbing on traditional culture, and their mutual relationships. The second part introduces the techniques of transmission and rubbing and related knowledge, with the aim of helping more people recognize and understand transmission and rubbing, their techniques, and the field of transmission and rubbing studies, as well as providing a systematic understanding of their cultural and academic value.
