Features: Since the Tianbao era of the Tang Dynasty, regional military commands began to flourish. The importance of authority was inherited from the Eastern Jin Dynasty; the designation of military commanders was changed to general. Observation and administration were originally intended for inspection, but after the Zhide era, the river-opening routes were mostly led by military commanders; in remote and secluded areas, observation was used to oversee the militia; the Yungang commands were also known as military administrations. To put it bluntly, they were all regional military commands.
