According to the "General Principles of the Collected Works of Wei Shuzi" written by Wei Shijie, Wei Xi's other works include "Remnants of the Book of Shang" (1 volume), "The Book of Zuo's Governance" (10 volumes), "Drafted Memorial to Qin" (1 volume), and "Inner Teachings," most of which are no longer extant. However, the main part of Wei Xi's life's works has been included in works such as "The Two Editions of Tongjian." "Collected Works of Wei Shuzi" was passed down through the "Complete Works of the Three Weis of Ningdu." The "Complete Works of the Three Weis of Ningdu" include "Collected Works of Wei Bozi" (10 volumes), "Collected Works of Wei Shuzi" (13 volumes), and "Collected Works of Wei Jizi" (16 volumes), totaling 59 volumes, with additional works by the younger generation of the Weis appended, published in two separate issues. It was first printed during the Kangxi era, known as the "Yitan Collection." Wei Xi was rich in talent, profound in knowledge, and wrote essays with bold and unrestrained styles, often employing unconventional sentence structures and complex meanings.
