About the Author: Professor Wang Qiang is the Director of the Institute of Foreign Language Education and Teacher Education at the School of Foreign Languages, Beijing Normal University, and one of the key figures in the development of the National English Curriculum Standards. Over the years, she has achieved significant results in second language acquisition, English teaching methodology, primary and secondary school English teaching research, and action research for English teachers. Her edited "Teaching Methodology of English" is widely used in pre-service and in-service teacher education programs for English majors in higher normal universities across the country.
