New Classification of Excellent Ci Poems from the Song Dynasty

Author: Yu Chaogang
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 1996-01-01
Features: Based on Complete Lyrics of the Song Dynasty and related materials, this book selects over 1,200 works by nearly 400 Song Dynasty literary figures. The themes are incredibly diverse, and the content is rich, yet due to the past constraints of the "graceful and subtle" and "heroic and bold" schools of thought, many exquisite verses were excluded from our aesthetic perspective, leaving hidden gems unappreciated and causing regret among discerning readers. The categorization does not follow rigid frameworks but is entirely practical, primarily based on the themes of the works while also considering the subjects.
