Features: The project "National Innovation System and the Prospects of East Asian Economic Growth" is an independent key research project of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences led by the editor. It is also an attempt by the editor to explain a certain economic phenomenon using a specific economic theory. In a sense, the results of this research are the crystallization of collective wisdom. Du Fangli, a researcher at the Institute of World Economy and Politics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Xuan Xinyun, a researcher, Liu Xiulian, an associate researcher, He Yongtian, an assistant researcher (currently studying in the United States), and Wen Binshi of the Bank of China provided five sub-reports for the project research. Some of their viewpoints and materials are also reflected in the results of the project.
