Features: Su Chang graduated from the Department of Russian Language and Literature at the Tashkent State University of Uzbekistan in 1997, earning a master's degree. He later obtained another master's degree from the East Europe and Central Asia Department of the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2005. Currently, he works at the Institute of Russian, East European, and Central Asian Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His main research areas are international relations and socio-political issues in the Caucasus and Central Asia. Since 1998, he has published dozens of papers, research reports, and other research outcomes. Georgia was a constituent republic of the Soviet Union and declared independence in 1991. Although small in size, Georgia has a long history and beautiful natural scenery. Many world-famous figures were born here, such as Stalin, Beria, Shevardnadze, Sharon, and Mayakovsky; numerous other celebrities have also lived and worked in the country, including Pushkin and Lermontov. Due to its strategic location, it has now become a battleground for major powers.
