This revision is based on the previously published "Textbook for Probationary Party Members." Considering the actual training needs of probationary party members at all levels of the party organizations, this revision has been changed to "11 Lectures on Probationary Party Member Training," making the content more targeted. In the revision, we followed two principles: First, strictly adhere to the "Rules of the Communist Party of China" revised and adopted at the 16th National Congress, accurately explaining the basic knowledge that probationary party members need to further understand, including the nature, program, purpose, discipline, organizational system, standards of party members, and party spirit of the party. Second, keep pace with the times, in line with the spirit of the Third and Fourth Plenary Sessions of the 16th Central Committee of the Party, and promptly add new content based on the party's tasks in the new era, such as the "Three Represents" important thought, establishing a scientific development concept, maintaining the advanced nature of Communist Party members, and strengthening the party's governing capacity. Especially the important theoretical achievements in party construction by the new central leadership headed by Comrade Hu Jintao, such as the "Six Adherences" for Communist Party members in the new era. Third, arrange chapters and content according to the training needs of probationary party members over one year, ensuring a balance between depth and simplicity, and focusing on the practicality and operability of the content.
