All chapters have been updated, either by addition or subtraction. For example, Chapter (Principles of Disease Prevention) has undergone significant revisions, adding three sections: avian immune system, vaccination, and antibiotic treatment. Chapter 2 (Newcastle Disease, Other Paramyxovirus, and Pneumovirus Infections) has been reorganized in terms of content structure, providing separate introductions to different infections to enhance readers' understanding. The chapter on mycotoxins has been split into two chapters: "Mycotoxicosis" and "Other Toxins and Poisons." The chapter on emerging diseases, polyetiological or unknown pathogenic diseases has seen some established as independent diseases, some with pathogens identified, and some deemed less important and removed, etc. The book has been reduced from 37 chapters in the 10th edition to 34 chapters.
