Mr. Zhu Zizhen has clearly written about the tea production history of Suzhou, which greatly helps in understanding the origins of Biluochun tea. Biluochun tea is one of China's historical famous teas. In the contemporary era, it is renowned alongside West Lake Longjing, Huangshan Maofeng, Keemun Black Tea, Da Hong Pao, and Tieguanyin. In recent years, with the development of the market economy, more people have been promoting famous teas, leading to increased demand. Consequently, counterfeit products have also emerged. In today's underdeveloped market economy, famous and high-quality products often face such awkward situations. Longjing tea is no exception, and neither is Biluochun. To better meet consumer needs, the government has significantly expanded the production areas of many famous teas, thereby widening the gap in quality. The same names, such as "Longjing tea" and "Biluochun," can have vastly different qualities and prices. In such circumstances, it is crucial to protect the geographical indication products of various famous teas and apply for "certified trademarks" for origin products. This is essential to let consumers know that "Longjing tea" is still the best in quality from Shifeng Mountain in Longjing Village, Hangzhou; and "Biluochun" is still the best in quality from Dongting Mountain in Suzhou. Although "Biluochun" is a small book, it offers systematic and comprehensive knowledge, reliable and detailed historical materials, and practical techniques. It combines both historical and humanities knowledge with natural and scientific content. Its publication will play a positive role in promoting Chinese tea culture.
