Features: Nowadays, the people of our country are no longer satisfied with a material life of abundance, and have begun to yearn to step outside their borders to see the wonderful world outside. In recent years, people have not only traveled to regions such as Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas but have also started to turn their attention to other regions, including Turkey, located at the intersection of the continents of Europe and Asia. After China and Turkey signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism Cooperation, an increasing number of Chinese citizens have traveled to Turkey. Anyone who has visited Turkey is amazed to say: Turkey is not "rustic" at all! The Republic of Turkey is situated at the meeting point of the continents of Europe and Asia, spanning both continents with an area of 779,450 square kilometers, approximately 2.6 times the size of Italy and more than 3 times the size of the United Kingdom. Of this area, 97% is located on the Anatolian Peninsula in Asia, commonly known as Anatolia, while 3% is located on the Balkan Peninsula in Europe. Turkey is bordered by Greece and Bulgaria to the west, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Iran to the east, and Iraq and Syria to the south. The Black Sea, the Aegean Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea surround Turkey from the north, west, and south. The shape of Turkey's territory is basically rectangular, stretching approximately 1,600 kilometers from the Aegean Sea coast to the eastern border, but it is less than 700 kilometers wide from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea.
