Features: The book is divided into five parts: General Introduction, Medical Helminthology, Medical Protozoology, Medical Arthropods, and Parasitology Experimental Techniques. The General Introduction primarily elaborates on the definition, research content, and discipline overview of human parasitology. The three parts—Medical Helminthology, Medical Protozoology, and Medical Arthropods—are organized according to the biological classification of parasites. Each class of parasites constitutes a chapter, with an initial overall overview followed by sectional discussions of the parasites within that class. At the end of each chapter, a summary of the described parasites is provided. Considering limited class hours, some parasites that are not severely prevalent or pose minor harm in Henan Province have been omitted. The fifth part, Parasitology Experimental Techniques, lists common experimental methods such as parasite culture and preservation, pathological diagnosis, and immunological diagnosis. Its purpose is to facilitate student reference rather than serve as classroom teaching content.
