Features: This course primarily focuses on teaching basic computer operations, with less emphasis on theoretical knowledge, making it a typical applied course. Additionally, as higher education in China is transitioning from "elitism" to "massification," students' proficiency in computer applications upon enrollment varies greatly. To motivate students at all levels and ensure that each student can master basic computer knowledge and operate computers skillfully, recent years of teaching practice have demonstrated that the "task-driven" teaching model, based on constructivist learning theory, is an ideal approach for computer education. It aligns with the characteristics of computer courses and excels in cultivating students' innovative abilities, as well as their capacity for independent analysis and problem-solving. In light of this, the textbook "Computer Culture Basic Laboratory Guide" has been organized and compiled for learning, teaching, and practical use. The arrangement of hands-on practical tasks in this book is centered on students and driven by tasks, aiming to enable students to learn computer basics progressively, from simple to complex, and to refine their skills step by step. The book primarily focuses on experiments and tests related to Windows 2000 + Office 2000, but the software environment commonly used by students today is Windows 98 + Office 2000. Therefore, it has made every effort to accommodate Windows 98 content, unless otherwise specified, as both environments are generally applicable.
