Features: In response to the continuous improvement of social living standards, since the mid-1980s, the field of interior environmental design education has emerged in China's higher education institutions and has achieved significant development. However, as a relatively new discipline, there are still many aspects of interior environmental design education that need to be refined. The main issues include: the lack of a mature and systematic professional education theory, insufficient research on new design concepts, and their limited comprehensive implementation in professional teaching. This book is divided into five chapters. The first three chapters primarily discuss the characteristics, development trends, and evaluation methods of interior environmental design from a macro theoretical perspective. The fourth chapter specifically elaborates on the interior environmental design of various functional spaces, such as residential spaces, entertainment spaces, dining spaces, office spaces, and exhibition spaces. To provide students with a systematic understanding of interior environmental design, we particularly focus on the systematic design of star-rated hotels in the fifth chapter.
