Features: To regulate the work of applying for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing and ensure the quality of degree conferment, the 16th meeting of the State Council Academic Degrees Commission decided to introduce the National Unified Examination for Comprehensive Academic Level of Equivalent Academic Standing for applicants. Starting from September 1, 1999, applicants for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing must obtain the "Certificate of Qualification for the National Unified Examination for Comprehensive Academic Level" in the relevant discipline, which is a prerequisite for obtaining the master's degree. The purpose of the Comprehensive Academic Level Examination is to strengthen the macro-control and standardized management of the state in conferring master's degrees on applicants with equivalent academic standing, and it is an important part of the national assessment of the professional knowledge structure and level of applicants for master's degrees. In 1998, experts were organized to compile and publish the "Outline and Guide for the National Unified Examination for Comprehensive Academic Level of Equivalent Academic Standing in the Discipline of Education for Applicants for Master's Degrees." Over the past five years, based on the suggestions of a large number of candidates and relevant experts, we have revised this book carefully on the basis of summarizing the experience of the unified examination. The revised outline (Second Edition) will serve as the basis for the unified examination questions for the Comprehensive Academic Level Examination for applicants for master's degrees in the coming years, providing reference for universities and colleges in teaching and tutoring, as well as for candidates in reviewing and preparing for the exam.
