Dragon Ball. 1

Author: (Japan) Akira Toriyama
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-07-01
Features: "DRAGONBALL" is translated as "Dragon Ball" (also known as "Dragon Ball Z"). It is the masterpiece of the renowned Japanese manga artist Akira Toriyama, debuting in 1984 and later releasing a sequel titled "Dragon Ball" in 1992. This long-running series ran for 7 years in "Weekly Shōnen Jump." The story follows the father-son duo of Goku (of course, not the Monkey King from our deified legends) and the seven Dragon Balls that grant wishes, taking readers from a rural village to the city, from Earth to outer space, and from the present to the future. Based on the Dragon Ball manga, a series of animated adaptations were produced, both in TV and movie formats, captivating countless Dragon Ball fans and sparking waves of "Dragon Ball" fever. The setting of Dragon Ball, though infused with Chinese elements, is not limited to China; the timeline is also not fixed to a specific period. The overall story structure is simple, and as for details and the ending, I leave them to develop freely. As a result, even I find myself wondering, "[How will the story progress next?]" and can't help but feel anxious. Since the possibilities are endless, I enjoy the process immensely.
