It adopts the latest national codes and regulations and considers the talent development direction of "general civil engineering." The main content includes the structural design of multi-story masonry structure buildings and single-story buildings (including seismic design). This book was written according to the basic teaching requirements for the masonry structure course in the architectural structure engineering major, following the new "Masonry Structure Design Code" (GB50003—2010). Its content covers introduction, load-bearing capacity calculations for masonry structure members, lintels, overhanging beams, and wall beams, design of single-story masonry structure buildings, design of multi-story masonry structure buildings (including seismic design), and common foundation design for masonry structure buildings, along with practical examples. To improve the lifespan and durability of existing masonry structure buildings, the book has added content on the renovation and repair design of old masonry structure buildings.
