Features: In many years of teaching practice, we have always heard students complain that after completing the "Computer Language Course," they still face significant difficulties in actual programming. We believe the main problem lies in the in-class textbooks, which focus heavily on syntax and grammar instruction while offering very limited guidance on practical application methods, skill development, and the exercises are too simple to meet students' needs for skill improvement and practical application. Therefore, we have compiled this series of books, "21st Century Advanced Tutoring for Computer Language Courses in Higher Education."
1. Content Structure: The book is divided into two parts:
Part 1: Program Design Learning Guidance. It is organized by chapters, each containing key point summaries, detailed example explanations, extended exercises, and reference answers. The concepts are clear, explanations are thorough, key points are highlighted, and it is highly applicable, covering all key knowledge points comprehensively.
Part 2: Program Design Hands-on Guidance. It includes introductions to compilation environments, programming techniques, application examples, and classic games.
2. Features:
(1) Based on moderate difficulty and in-depth, easy-to-understand explanations, the book aims to genuinely help students improve their abilities.
(2) The authors are experienced teachers who have long been involved in teaching computer language courses, guiding graduation projects, and conducting computer language training. They have both extensive practical development experience and a genuine understanding of the common shortcomings of most students in daily learning. Therefore, this series can help students solve the general problems they encounter in their studies.
(3) While selecting domestic and international examples, the solution approach for each example is analyzed in detail, and key statements in the programs are emphasized through annotations, striving to combine guidance with practicality.
(4) The programs in the book have been debugged and can be directly used in actual projects.
3. Scope of Application: The book is widely applicable, serving as a supplementary textbook for course design and graduation projects in computer language courses, an auxiliary book for software development learning, a reference for computer proficiency exams and software proficiency exams, and also suitable for training programs and entry-level programmers.
4. Companion CD-ROM: The accompanying CD-ROM includes resource files for the source code mentioned in the book, which can be debugged and run by readers. Additionally, it provides a new, real simulation environment for the "National Computer Proficiency Examination Practice System" and past exam questions to meet the needs of candidates for the exam.
