Nearly a thousand universities and training institutions in the U.S., such as Harvard Business School, Stanford University, and Duke University, use this book as the core textbook for entrepreneurship courses. Over the years, Timmons' Entrepreneurship has held an absolute leading market share among comparable books. In 2002, the fifth edition of this monumental work was split into five volumes and translated into Chinese under the title Timmons' Entrepreneurship Translation Series. Top domestic business schools in China, such as Tsinghua University, CEIBS, and Nankai University, have adopted this book as a core textbook for entrepreneurship courses. The sixth edition of the English original (Entrepreneurship, 2004) further refined the essence of the previous five editions and, with the addition of Professor Spinelli as the second author—a heavyweight in the field of entrepreneurship management—brought fresh perspectives, significantly updating and expanding the content. This Chinese translation also features a new translator with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and corporate management, who collaborated closely with the original translator to produce even more accurate and fluent text. To facilitate teaching and reader access, the Chinese publishers, after consulting experts, have split this monumental work into two separate volumes: Entrepreneurship and Cases in Entrepreneurship, for independent publication.
