Features: To regulate the work of applying for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing and ensure the quality of degree conferment, the 16th meeting of the State Council Academic Degrees Commission decided to introduce the National Unified Examination for Comprehensive Academic Level in Disciplines for applicants with equivalent academic standing. Starting from September 1, 1999, individuals applying for master's degrees with equivalent academic standing who obtain the "Certificate of Qualification for the National Unified Examination for Comprehensive Academic Level in Disciplines" in their respective disciplines will have fulfilled a necessary prerequisite for obtaining the master's degree. The Comprehensive Academic Level Examination aims to strengthen the macro-level quality control and standardized management of granting master's degrees to individuals with equivalent academic standing, and it is a crucial component organized by the state to assess the knowledge structure and level of applicants with equivalent academic standing seeking master's degrees. In 1998, experts were organized to compile and publish the "Outline and Guide for the National Unified Examination for Comprehensive Academic Level in Clinical Medicine for Applicants with Equivalent Academic Standing." In 1999, based on the experience of the pilot program, it was revised times and published in December of the same year. Over the past four years, following suggestions from a large number of examinees and relevant experts, and based on the accumulated experience of recent years' unified examinations, we have organized experts from relevant fields to revise this book for the second time. The revised outline (Third Edition) will serve as the basis for the unified examination questions for the Comprehensive Academic Level Examination in Clinical Medicine for applicants with equivalent academic standing in the coming years. It is also provided as a reference for universities and colleges in related teaching and tutoring, as well as for examinees in their review and preparation for the examination.
