Features: When the economy of some countries is constrained by the economic development and expansion of other countries, this situation is referred to as dependency. When some countries can expand through self-drive while others only develop as a reaction to this expansion, the interdependence between the economies of two or more countries, as well as between individual economies and world trade, always takes the form of dependency. Dependency relations constrain the internal economic structure of a country, and the structural conditions of each national economy determine the operation of this dependent structure. The only way to break free from dependency is to change the internal structure, rather than isolating it from external influences. From this theoretical perspective, the author delves into the global dependency relationships of the world economy during the era of imperialism, showing deep concern for the autonomous development of third-world countries.
