Features: The implementation of quality education not only requires us to change educational concepts but also necessitates reforms in current textbooks and various teaching aids. Reducing students' academic workload does not mean eliminating homework or exercises. Practice has proven that timely and appropriate training and assessments are crucial elements in improving teaching quality: training reinforces, enhances, and develops knowledge and skills, while assessments serve as a measure of academic competence. To implement the spirit of the teaching syllabus, improve classroom teaching quality, and strengthen the cultivation of basic skills and innovative abilities, we have written this series of "One Lesson, Three Drills" books based on the New Mathematics textbooks for each grade published by the People's Education Press. The "Three Drills" in this series are divided into three levels: basic exercises, comprehensive exercises, and extended exercises. The problems in the "Three Drills" are all typical and feature flexible and varied question types with a progressive difficulty level. Basic exercises primarily focus on reinforcing and practicing fundamental knowledge points and essential content outlined in the teaching syllabus and textbooks, covering basic knowledge and skills. Comprehensive exercises are designed to assess students' ability to apply acquired knowledge and skills to analyze and solve problems. Extended exercises include a certain number of open-ended questions to cultivate students' ability to use fundamental knowledge and skills to address comprehensive problems, as well as practical and innovative thinking.
