Features: To meet the rapidly developing needs of water-saving agriculture construction in China, this design atlas was compiled based on the requirements of SL103—95 "Technical Specification for Micro-Irrigation Engineering" and other relevant design codes and specifications. It combines the significant achievements and successful experiences of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps in developing drip irrigation engineering in recent years. This design atlas emphasizes both text and illustrations, systematically introducing the main design steps, principles, scheme selection, and parameter calculations for drip irrigation engineering, from water sources to the infiltration of water into crop root zone soil. The drawings primarily focus on the design of pipeline systems, including engineering layout plans, system operation diagrams, node pressure diagrams, node connections, and detail drawings. General introductions are provided for farmland water conservancy planning, civil engineering, pumps and agricultural machinery, and technical economic analysis. Necessary textual explanations and introductions to corresponding parameter calculations are included before engineering examples and some chapters, with text and illustrations corresponding to achieve easy readability and practicality. In the appendix, relevant materials for drip irrigation engineering design and construction are also included to make the use of the atlas more convenient. To save space, the engineering examples section of this design atlas focuses on detailed calculations and textual discussions in a few representative cases, while the remaining examples are briefly introduced. The drawings are drawn according to the requirements of the technical design stage, and the design meets the current national and industry-related requirements for drip irrigation engineering design. This design atlas is primarily intended for engineering technicians engaged in drip irrigation design and can also serve as a training textbook for drip irrigation engineering technicians. Additionally, it can be used as a reference for faculty and students of farmland water conservancy majors in universities and colleges.
