Features: Embroidery is one of the long-standing practical crafts in China's history. It is deeply rooted in the rich culture of the Chinese nation. During the Northern and Southern Dynasties, it was used as decorative elements for temples and palaces. By the Ming and Qing dynasties, it became attire for the imperial family. Later, embroidery gradually entered people's daily lives. Embroidery is also known as pick-and-fill embroidery. It typically uses high-quality materials such as cotton fabric, hemp fabric, cotton-hemp blended fabric, gauze, double-thread fabric, glass cloth, silk-glazed cotton fabric, and satin. Its main products include tablecloths, plates and placemats, pillowcases, cushions, face towels, handkerchiefs, and gloves. In terms of craftsmanship, it is divided into four major categories: peach-blossom embroidery, patchwork embroidery, hand-embroidery, and machine-embroidery.
