Features: "The Expansion of Seal Carving Formal Aesthetics—A Professional Training System for University Seal Carving Art Form and Techniques" is a series of achievements accumulated by the author in the field of seal carving education over the past decade. Chapter 2, "Seal Carving Aesthetic Principles," was published as a standalone paper in the second issue of Literary Research in 1987 and is considered a pioneering work in the field of seal carving aesthetics. Meanwhile, Chapter "Clarification of Seal Carving Art Concepts" was also published as a standalone paper in the inaugural issue and issue of Chinese Seal Carving from 1994-1995, appearing as a "leading article" in a high-profile national-level professional academic journal. Additionally, Chapter 8, "The Expansion of Seal Carving Thinking and 'Problem Awareness': Discipline Construction of Seal Carving Studies," is a compiled manuscript of the author's academic summary delivered at the first national "Seal Carving Studies" and Seal Carving Development Strategy Symposium held in Tianjin on July 28, 1997. It can be said that this book not onlyly collects the training methods used by the author in higher seal carving education during his twenty years of teaching at the university but also objectively records many of the author's footsteps in theoretical research on seal carving over these two decades. In addition to articles on seal carving history research, seal carving artist studies, and seal carving textual research, in terms of aesthetics, this book has already collected some of the main speculative achievements.
