Features: This textbook is based on the authors' teaching experience and the latest achievements in the teaching and research of constitutional case law both domestically and internationally. The main features of this book are: (1) It introduces and analyzes various constitutional cases from both the perspectives of experience and facts, with an emphasis on the analysis of constitutional principles in constitutional case law. (2) It analyzes representative constitutional cases from countries around the world based on the traditions and values of constitutional culture, providing useful materials or methodological insights for the study of different constitutional litigation systems. (3) When selecting and reviewing constitutional cases, it strives to seek commonalities and individualities in constitutional development through comparative analysis of different systems. (4) In terms of the format for analyzing cases, it does not categorize cases by country but instead organizes them according to the theoretical system of constitutional law, dividing them into three parts: general principles of constitutional review, general principles of fundamental rights, and general principles of governing institutions. This approach helps readers understand the general constitutional principles implied in different types of cases. (5) The over 100 constitutional cases from more than 20 countries introduced in this book are primary sources, providing a relatively accurate reflection of representative constitutional cases in each country. Additionally, to help readers gain a comprehensive understanding of the constitutional provisions on which the cases are based, relevant constitutional provisions are appended to each case.
