This book collects articles that basically introduce, study, and compare the artistic exchanges among the three major cultural systems of India, China, and the West. It focuses on the phenomena of transplantation and variation that occur in the process of East-West artistic exchange, and attempts to explore the underlying deep social aesthetic psychological reasons behind these phenomena. The vertical and horizontal comparison of artistic techniques and schemes among the three major cultural systems of India, China, and the West forms a three-dimensional stereoscopic framework, which can more clearly reveal the common aspects and unique characteristics of each culture. In the East-West artistic exchange, the author generally arranges the content by category, divided into five sections: India, Exchange, Comparison, Critique, and Biennial Exhibition. The illustrations themselves also highlight the exchange and comparison of East-West art.
