Features: The charm of posters lies in their ability to convey the information and intelligence people need through an artistic visual language form, printed on a seemingly ordinary piece of paper. Unlike television or the internet, which require imagery tools or electricity, posters can be quietly viewed at any time and inspire further imagination. At the same time, they possess symbolism and timeliness. Unlike pure art, engravings, or low-level behavior that disregards others, posters also have simple transportation requirements.
I chose the comic form, which is difficult to express in words but highly approachable. It is not loud or aggressive but rather appropriately balanced, as if coming from the depths of the heart—a gentle song. Illustration art blends a light style with a strong sense of the times, created through various forms of production and creation. At the Japan Tama Art University, where I teach, a specialized major in illustration art has been established within the graphic design program. This is the culmination of my efforts to pursue art. This does not signify the end of my career but rather a new beginning driven by my passion for illustration art.
