Features: Pathology is a bridging discipline between basic medical sciences and clinical medicine. The terminology used in pathology is not only extensive but also widely involves other basic medical sciences and various clinical disciplines, posing certain challenges for students. This book is primarily based on the "Teaching Syllabus for Pathology" for undergraduate students and the new edition of the Ministry of Health's planned textbook "Pathology." It is written in correspondence with each chapter of the "Pathology" textbook to facilitate its use by medical students. Additionally, it references a large number of domestic and international books, as well as new developments and technologies in pathology. Therefore, each chapter includes relevant "Additional Terms." Since some additional terms cannot be categorized under any specific chapter, a separate chapter titled "Other Additional Terms (Including New Developments and Technologies in Pathology)" has been added. All the aforementioned "Additional Terms" are provided for reference only. To strengthen medical students' understanding of English professional terminology in pathology, this book includes an "English-Chinese Comparative Index of Pathology Terms" at the end.
