Features: This series of textbooks is comprehensively updated based on the original national "Nineth Five-Year Plan" teaching materials, following the Computer Science Curriculum Plan 2001, to meet the needs of university computer science courses and teaching reform. Special attention is paid to the readability and usability of the textbooks, providing various teaching services for instructors. This book is revised based on the second edition of the national "Nineth Five-Year Plan" textbook "Digital Logic and Digital Systems," in accordance with the "Basic Requirements for Teaching of Electronic Technology Foundation Courses" issued by the Ministry of Education in 2004 and the CC2001 requirements. The book consists of 10 chapters, covering topics such as: fundamentals of digital logic, logic gate circuits, combinational logic circuits, flip-flops, sequential logic circuits, semiconductor memory, programmable logic devices, generation and shaping of pulse waveforms, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion, and digital system analysis and design. The appendices include practical content such as an introduction to the ABEL hardware description language, an introduction to graphical symbols for binary logic units in electrical diagrams, a comparison table of common logic symbols, and the nomenclature system for domestic semiconductor integrated circuits. Accompanying this textbook is the "Solutions and Experiment Guides for Digital Logic and Digital Systems," and multimedia electronic courseware is also provided free of charge to instructors. This book serves as a platform course textbook for electronic information-related majors and can be used as an undergraduate textbook for university students in computer science, communication, electronics, electrical engineering, and automation. It is also suitable for self-study exams, adult education, and self-learning use by electronic engineering technicians.
