In the field of Chinese input methods, Wubi Five-Stroke Input stands out, providing the Chinese people with a fast way to type. The core of Wubi is the decomposition of Chinese characters, so mastering the basic principles of character and phrase decomposition is key to learning the Wubi input method and quickly improving typing speed. This book lists the decomposition methods and Wubi codes for common characters and phrases, arranged in the same way as the Xinhua Dictionary, allowing readers to easily find and practice characters. The appendix introduces the basics of Wubi, quick-start methods for using Wubi, and answers common questions.
This book is in manual form, making it convenient for readers to carry and refer to at any time, and is also suitable for self-study by a broad audience. Computer operators often find the decomposition of "Wubi Five-Stroke Input" challenging in their daily work. To address this, the author wrote this Wubi Five-Stroke Input Quick Reference Manual to provide a systematic guide when difficulties arise in learning or work.
This manual includes 6,763 characters from the national standard Level 1 and Level 2 character sets, sorted by Pinyin, and 14,283 words. It first lists individual characters, followed by corresponding phrases. For each selected character, it provides "Pinyin annotations" and "Wubi codes"; for each phrase, it provides the "Wubi code." The Wubi codes for all characters and phrases are based on Version 4.5 of the Wubi input method.
The lookup method in this manual is similar to that of the Xinhua Dictionary. Using the "Pinyin Syllable Index" and the "Radical Lookup Table," readers can quickly find the Wubi codes for characters and their corresponding phrases.
The appendix provides "decomposition of radicals" and several charts of Wubi learning techniques, offering convenience for beginners.
