The topic of artists and art theorists is not the central focus of this book, but rather the starting point for our exploration of art. The relationship between theoretical learning and technical expression, as well as the principles of art creation and cultural cultivation, form an important thread in art theory, which we will address in subsequent chapters. It must be emphasized that learning this theory and taking this course should first strengthen awareness, adjust attitudes, and reach consensus; otherwise, it will be counterproductive. Secondly, the most important point is that one cannot oppose or reject art theory. Rejecting art theory may have become fashionable for a time, but it has been proven that this rejection eliminates historical insights and artistic sensitivity, leading to detours. Therefore, returning to the authentic state of art theory and art creation, revealing the kinship between artists and art theorists, has become a special pathway to return to the straight and narrow.
