内容简介:
The development of society, the transformation of art, and the diversification of aesthetics have put forward new demands on the field of art and have also had a certain impact on art education. Against this backdrop, a drawing textbook merely serving as an interpretation and refinement of a fixed system can no longer meet the needs. Currently, in China's drawing education, traditional teaching content, methods, and even the entire teaching system are changing to some extent. The emergence of various drawing styles and new interpretations of drawing may leave students feeling bewildered. In this context, compiling a "drawing textbook" presents certain difficulties. On one hand, constructing a textbook based on the traditional drawing system ensures its scientificity and completeness, but precisely for this reason, such a textbook lacks the ability to explain contemporary artistic phenomena. On the other hand, incorporating new drawing concepts is challenging to integrate reasonably into the traditional system and is also prone to being one-sided.
Therefore, when we began to conceptualize this book, we first considered these issues. We believe that the diversification of art and the ambiguity of artistic concepts are an undeniable fact. Given this, clinging to any single tradition, concept, or system is not an objective stance. With this in mind, we established two clear points. First, as can be seen from the discussions in each chapter, we do not equate drawing with art or its teaching, avoiding the metaphysical discussion of drawing issues. Instead, we focus on explaining the inherent laws of drawing itself, establishing its position as a foundational teaching discipline. Second, based on a comprehensive understanding of the various styles and forms of drawing, as well as an understanding of artistic concepts and their relationship to drawing education, we objectively introduce the various concepts, methods, and techniques of drawing and provide objective explanations for the various problems encountered in the learning process. Therefore, this "Drawing" does not target any specific system or viewpoint. As a textbook, this is an attempt.
We would like to thank the team at Henan University Press for their efforts in bringing this book to fruition, as well as all the friends who provided images and other assistance during the writing process.
