Features: Based on the close-range brachytherapy of radioactive particles, this book lists some experiences of particle therapy for tumors in our hospital, elaborates on the technical key points of particle therapy for various systems, and extensively draws on successful experiences in foreign particle therapy as well as insights from other hospitals to facilitate the work of sister hospitals and grassroots hospitals. Additionally, the book incorporates the experiences and guidelines on interstitial brachytherapy for soft tissue tumors recommended by the American Brachytherapy Society in 2002, which is highly beneficial for our particle therapy work. However, due to the relatively short period during which we have been conducting particle therapy, the long-term efficacy of particle treatment still needs further verification.
