Features: Hongchuan Creek gracefully winds through the village, like a lively and adorable little girl, flowing swiftly at times and leisurely at others, singing and laughing along the way. Five bridges of varying sizes—Dongtou Bridge, Yue'e Bridge, and Wanji Bridge—connect the entire village. The green mountains are like ink-wash paintings, the streams babble softly, the green shadows spread like a canopy, the fields crisscross, and the ancient, quaint earthen houses are scattered like pearls among the green mountains and clear waters. This is the Hongkeng Earthen Houses Group in Hukeng Town, Yongding County, which comprises 46 earthen houses built during the Ming and Qing dynasties. They are majestic, ancient, and magnificent, with Zhencheng Lou, Fuyu Dang, and Kuiju Lou listed as National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units. Hongkeng Village is far from the hustle and bustle, resembling a paradise on earth described by Tao Yuanming. The perfect fusion of small bridges, flowing water, homes, and the harmony between heaven, earth, and humanity embodies a rustic charm that attracts the gaze of countless tourists.
