Comics are the dreams of youth, the windows of middle age, and the shelter of old age. Comics are the rainbow that appears suddenly in the blue sky after the rain has cleared in life. In comics, there is the awkwardness of being lost between action and inaction, the hesitation of words left unsaid, and the shyness of glancing left and right. Of course, comics also hold hidden emotions, unforgettable old sorrows, new worries, and the innocence of childhood, as well as embarrassing moments. Comics are a miniature portrait of life, and more than that, they are the tiny, laughable moments in everyday existence. A person who loves comics understands the joy in life and also possesses the ability to laugh at themselves. These are all essential qualities for survival in the e-era. My comics are always closely tied to reality. In them, characters shift between genders and ages—sometimes men, sometimes women, sometimes old, sometimes young—as they wish to be. When I’m in a good mood, I’ll draw a woman in love; when I’m childish, I’ll hide in the role of a little kid. The transformation of characters brings me great enjoyment. To me, children are a rebirth, a hope, and a dream. "They" embody all unknown possibilities, and I deeply respect children. Drawing comics keeps me young, and I don’t want to grow up or grow old! After drawing comics for a long time, I’ve come to believe I have a very, very innocent heart.
