Features: The data in this report is directly sourced from the "Venture Capital Institution Survey Form" provided by participating venture capital institutions. The national venture capital survey was launched at the end of 2003 and, by March 2004, a total of 256 questionnaires were received and verified one by one, ultimately ensuring the authenticity and validity of all data. Through the classification and organization of all data, the data source for this report was formed. The entire dataset exhibits the following characteristics:
Comprehensiveness and authenticity, with data covering 24 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.
Strong continuity, as the survey form design was largely the same as the previous year, with appropriate adjustments made based on actual conditions.
High comparability, as the vast majority of venture capital institutions filled out the survey form in relatively detailed and accurate ways. Due to the strong continuity of the data, combined with the consistency of various data indicators and statistical methodologies, the dataset demonstrates strong comparability.
