After the failure of the Great Revolution, Fang Zhi Min started with two and a half guns, fought through hundreds of battles, and established a vibrant revolutionary base in northern Hebei. In November 1934, he led the Red Army Anti-Japanese Advance Corps northward to fight against Japanese aggression. He was blocked and captured by the Kuomintang army, remained unyielding in prison, and wrote works such as "The Beautiful China," "Purity," and "A Brief Account of My Revolutionary Struggles." He was executed heroically in Nanchang on August 6 of the following year.
