Features: This book summarizes the past five years of college entrance examination questions and the past three years of simulated test questions, effectively reflecting the trends of the college entrance examination over the years with clear objectives. At the same time, the questions are presented in the form of a workbook, which is a unique feature that greatly facilitates students' learning and teachers' teaching, making it an ideal teaching aid for readers. Although there are many college entrance examination question compilations or collections of college entrance examination questions and simulated test questions in the book market, the concept of this book is entirely new: we not only strive for lively content, innovative forms, high-end positioning, and refined taste, but also place greater emphasis on applicability and ease of use, ensuring that teachers find it convenient to use and students gain significant benefits. For this purpose, we strive to achieve the following points in the writing process:
1. Careful Planning for College Entrance Examination Review
The taboo is: repeatedly practicing questions you already know and consistently struggling with questions you don’t know. To prevent students from wasting time on excessive repetitive practice, the selection of questions in this book is meticulously curated. The questions not only come from the college entrance examination questions and simulated test questions of famous schools, which are the culmination of the dedication and wisdom of numerous question-setting experts, but are also carefully selected by teachers who have been teaching in senior high schools for many years and have a deep understanding of the college entrance examination. Our goal is: to have students practice a small number of questions while mastering typical problem-solving methods.
2. Applicability and Ease of Use
For the vast number of college entrance examination and simulated test questions, we only select highly targeted problems that ensure a focus on fundamental knowledge, skills, and methods, while also addressing the improvement of abilities. To facilitate use by teachers and students, we label the difficulty level of each question: A for basic questions, B for intermediate-level questions, and C for difficult questions. The arrangement system is as follows: for science subjects, it is closely linked to teaching time, with questions selected according to teaching periods, while for liberal arts subjects, it is paired with units.
3. Scientific Classification
The results of the college entrance examination not only determine who will enter university but also which tier of university they will attend. Therefore, the questions must be tiered, and the scores must be differentiated. What then determines the differentiation of scores? Practice shows that the performance on intermediate-level questions is most critical. Thus, in addition to reclassifying and arranging the questions according to the content and sequence specified in the new "College Entrance Examination Instructions," we also consider the overall structure of questions of the same content, including their order and difficulty level, ensuring that the proportion of basic, intermediate, and difficult questions in the entire book remains at 2:6:2.
